San Luis Obispo Marathon + Half Marathon Celebrates the 25th Anniversary of Jamba JuiceⓇ with Protein Chocolate Marathon Smoothie

Jamba celebrates 25 years of inspiring healthy living and the “Small Town, Big Race” experience on April 24–26

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — (April 22, 2015) — The San Luis Obispo Marathon, Half Marathon + 5K presented by LeftLaneSports.com celebrates the 25th anniversary of Jamba Juice with the Protein Chocolate Marathon smoothie, specifically designed for participants to recover post-race with the right balance of protein to carbohydrates. The smoothie is exclusively available for participants of the 4th event edition, a San Luis Obispo running tradition, held on April 24–26.

“Celebrating a 25th anniversary is special for any organization, and it’s wonderful to help support all the runners competing in Sunday’s San Luis Obispo Marathon and Half Marathon by offering our special recovery smoothie,” commented Jamba’s local owner and San Luis Obispo native Linda Ozawa Olds.

Jamba will be serving 8oz. servings in the Finishers’ Tent with both dairy and non-dairy options.

Ozawa Olds, who was part of the original management team of the Juice Club that later became Jamba Juice, continues to own and operate nine Jamba locations, including the original location on Foothill and Chorro. This weekend will also mark her fourth year participating in the San Luis Obispo Marathon + Half.
