“In our 8th year of this Spring Fitness Tradition we really feel we nailed it. Our athletes, our community, non-profit partners and invaluable sponsors all went above and beyond supporting and celebrating with us. It takes year-round work and an army of passionate people to create a massive first-class event like this. Adding the SLO YogaMusic Fest as our kick off allowed us to collaborate with a new group of local Yogis, artists, music lovers and with Cal Poly, adding another level of heart and soul to our weekend. We are so grateful to all these beautiful humans and to our beautiful City of SLO for embracing us once again,” said Samantha Pruitt, Race SLO Founder & CEO.

The largest fitness festival on the California Central Coast, produced by Race SLO, lasted all weekend and brought out over 3,000 athletes from 26 states and 3 different countries, with 63% of participants from out of town. The economic impact of the event on the local economy was estimated at over $2 million.
